Senator Hauschild will always bring labor to the table in St. Paul

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HERMANTOWN, MN. — Yesterday, Teamsters Local 346 endorsed Senator Grant Hauschild for reelection this November.

During his first term, Hauschild has established himself as a strong ally to organized labor. He has supported legislation benefiting workers, backed permitting reform, championed the expansion of the Minnesota Film Production Tax Credit, and pushed for infrastructure that strengthens the region while creating thousands of union jobs.

“I am grateful for the Teamsters’ endorsement and for having their support heading into November,” said Hauschild. “I look forward to working with them back in St. Paul to ensure that labor always has a voice at the table and that the voices of working men and women are heard as we shape the future of our state.”

“Senator Hauschild is the clear labor candidate for the State Senate,” said Hannah Alstead, Teamsters Political Director. “He has stood with us on picket lines and helped pass legislation that supports working people. His opponent, on the other hand, has come out strongly in favor of right-to-work laws that would undermine the protections we have fought so hard to secure. We look forward to working with Senator Hauschild in the next legislative session and continuing to build a stronger Northland for generations to come.”
